If you love music, and want to listen to different genres of music, from pop to electro, rock to hip-hop, or experimental, this is THE festival. Nearly 40 bands and artists playing on 3 stages during 3 days.
The artists come from all over the world to play in front of a public of connoisseurs.
For me, the best concert of the 3 days, was surely The Picturebook. 2 bearded men on stage with lots of energy that blew me away. The drummer was hitting his minimalistic drum set so hard and with such a pace that I wonder how he managed to not collapse during the concert. It was a great pleasure to see them and definitively a band to watch again and again.
Writing about pleasure, Artificial Pleasure was also a great band to watch. A little David Bowie there, And Talking Heads here…
When I heard that Hip-Hop artists would play during Soundrive, I was a bit doubtful, but after seeing them, I totally changed my mind. Hip-Hop is great to see live. Especially with Cakes da Killa, unbelievable charisma, funny, with such a great contact with the public.
