New Model Army announces the release of their 16th studio album, “Unbroken” set to be released in 2024, along with a grand concert tour across Europe and the United Kingdom.
The band commenced work on the album in 2021, influenced by the rapidly changing world and their personal lives. At an early stage, they decided that the legendary Tchad Blake would be their first choice to create the mix for the new album. Blake gladly accepted the proposition, stating today, “Not many things convince me so authentically. New Model Army is spot on. The wonderfully recorded and produced album was prepared from the start by the band members, so mixing these tracks was a true honor for me.” With a full complement of guitars, compelling vocals with a focus on bass and percussion characterizing their creativity, “Unbroken” sounds like New Model Army, yet the musicians have added something different, new, and fresh.
Founded in Bradford in 1980, New Model Army enters its fifth decade, showing no signs of fatigue. In September 2023, they released a unique live album, “Sinfonia” recorded with with a 40 piece orchestra at the Tempodrom hall in Berlin. The new studio album, “Unbroken” is set to be released on January 26, 2024.
